Clay refractory bricks

Clay refractory bricks are clay products of aluminum silicate material with AI2O3 content of 30%~40%. The mineral composition of clay bricks is mainly kaolinite and 6%~7% impurities, clay bricks belong to weakly acidic refractory products.

Application: Due to the low load softening temperature of clay bricks, shrinkage at high temperature, slightly poor thermal conductivity, weak mechanical strength, so the clay bricks are only used in the secondary parts of the coke oven, such as sealing wall of the heat storage room, small flue lining bricks and lattice bricks of the heat storage room, door lining bricks, roof of the furnace, and rising tube lining bricks and other parts of the coke oven.

Product characteristics:

  1, refractoriness: the degree of refractoriness of clay refractory bricks is determined by his chemical composition and impurity content, from his physical and chemical indicators can be seen the higher the content of Al2O3, corresponding to the liquid phase line temperature is higher. General refractoriness of clay refractory bricks in 1580-1750 ℃. The higher the Al2O3 content, the higher the corresponding liquid phase line temperature.

  2, load softening temperature: because the clay refractory bricks at lower temperatures in the liquid phase line and began to soft than, if the external force will be deformed, so the clay refractory bricks load softening temperature than the refractoriness is much lower than, only 1350 ℃.

  3, slag resistance: clay refractory brick belongs to neutral to acidic refractory brick, so clay refractory brick on alkaline slag erosion resistance is slightly worse.

  4, thermal shock: the coefficient of thermal expansion of clay refractory bricks is small, good resistance to thermal shock, the number of water-cooled at 850 ℃ is generally 10-15 times.
